The word of the creator and founder of the brand MIMISSA: Meriem Tazi
Born in a family working in textile business since 1948, I have always bathed in
the world of spinning, weaving, knitting and tailoring.
After a long carrier of more than 17 years as a pharmacist, I wanted to come back
to my roots then came the idea to start with a training in styling, modelling, embroidery and beading.
In contact with these materials and our talented craftsmen, I started the
creative adventure.
My goal: To use the Moroccan elegance by revisiting the essentials of our wardrobes.
And so is born my brand MIMISSA.
MIMISSA is me! As I like to say ...
Symbol of my double Moroccan and French identity, MIMISSA evolves according to
my travels, my encounters, my passions and my favourites.
Each MIMISSA's creation is the result of a meticulous work of a talented
and passionate team.
This is how we created (and we are so proud of it) these first ever following
collections : the first Moroccan embroidered swimsuit, the Japanese kimono
with a Moroccan style and the first collection of Tango Dresses with a
Moroccan touch and many others ....
From Japan to Buenos Aires, MIMISSA is like a world trip of a Moroccan
passionate and observing woman.
Through our creations I wish to address all women the message carried by my
brand:
